Join us for nature-inspired family fun during school holidays! In Cirencester locations, including the magical Cirencester Opportunity Group forest school. 

  • Enjoy time together as a family exploring the outdoors & being creative
  • Have fun with nature treasure hunts, movement and music games and  creating artworks
  • Meet and connect with other local families
  • Delivered by artists with years of experience in SEND friendly arts

Recommended for families with children between the ages of 2 and 8. Babies and older siblings welcome too.

Workshops and interactive performances throughout the year. Read on for events coming up.

What to expect:

  • Discover the magical world of Nature Super Heroes!
  • Sensory creative activities and games, led by Steve & Marie-Louise Flexen
  • Outdoor play in a safe, inclusive setting
  • New & returning families welcome. If you’ve previously attended an ‘Get Creative Outdoors’ event, you’re encouraged to to join this new themed nature experience!

Practical info:

  • This event takes places at Cirencester Opportunity Group, Beeches Road, GL7 1BW
  • Free on-site parking and local bus stops
  • Wide entry gates to the venue. Access to the forest school is across grass. 
  • The are some narrow passing points in forest school area. Expect mixed levels and terrains.
  • New compost toilet facility in the forest forest school: there is a narrow slope upwards to access, no handrails in the toilet.
  • Choose the amount you pay that works for your family, from £5
  • Bursaries available to take part and/or to support with travel costs

Creative Outdoor Workshop - with Author Steve Skinley

  • Families enjoyed interactive storytelling with local author, Steve Skinley. Inspired by his book ‘The Otherlands’
  • They took part in sensory creative activities and games, led by Steve & Marie-Louise Flexen
  • Forest play in a safe, inclusive setting
  • The workshop took inspiration from previous events at City Bank, but with more activities to take part in – all at Cirencester Oppportunity Group forest school.
